Four Annotated Pictures:
This photograph depicts two black swans bending their necks next to each other. However, from the angle the photograph has been taken from, the shape made by the two swans bending their necks could be said to resemble that of a heart. This is an example of shape in natural circumstances, even though the picture has been taken from a specific angle in order to make the resultant photograph it look like it does.
This picture of many rectangular road signs is an example of how a man made shape can appear in everyday circumstances without us even considering the fact that it is a shape. This is because the human brain has become so accustom to shape, that it does not get attracted specifically to them anymore.
This picture of honey comb depicts the many similar shapes used within one object or substance. Each of these look exactly the same, and portray hexagons within natural circumstances, as oppose to man made circumstances.
Finally, this picture is another example of how a certain angle of a photograph can change entirely what it is portraying. The ring has been cleverly positioned in order for it's shadow to appear as a heart, within the middle of the book. This, unlike the first annotated picture of the black swans, however, is a man made shape, made specifically by somebody that wanted the shadow of the ring to appear as a heart.
