One thing all of these photos have in common is that they all include a shadow, allowing us to realise that the picture is of something 3 Dimensional rather than 2 Dimensional. This process is known as 'Form'. All of the photos are also black and white, due to the fact that it is easier to portray shadows without colour. Also, each picture is focused on some parts and blurred on the other, making the shadow effect even more prominent.
